Israel Election: Kingmaker, the Islamic Party in the Jewish Country, becomes the command of the government in the hands of 'Raam'

 A hung parliament seems to be formed in the elections in Israel. In such a situation, The United Arab List is seen coming in the role of Kingmaker.

Tel Aviv: Elections have been held for the fourth time in the last two years in the Jewish country of Israel. In these elections, once again the government of Benjamin Netanyahu is seen to be formed. In the 90 percent vote count held till Thursday morning, Netanyahu's party was seen winning 59 seats. In such a situation, if they get 2 more seats, it will be decided to form their government. 

Netanyahu can become prime minister again

Let us tell you that Israel has a total of 120 seats in the Parliament. As of now, the Likud Party of Benjamin Netanyahu and his allies seem to get a total of 59 seats. In such a situation, if he gets 2 more seats, then he will again become the Prime Minister of the country. 

'Ram' in Israel's Parliament

In Israel elections, the most interesting thing this time is to win 5 seats of an Islamic party there. The name of this Islamic party is The United Arab List. In Israel's own language Hebrew, this party is called 'Ram' (Raam). According to the electoral trends so far, the Likud Party of Benjamin Netanyahu is getting 59 seats and his rival party 56 seats. In such a situation, to reach the figure of 61 seats to form a government, they will have to resort to the 'Ram' party. This party has become a king maker due to this interesting situation created in the election.  

Netanyahu has been in power since 2009

Benjamin Netanyahu has been in power since 2009. There have been four elections in the last two years, but so far no party has got a clear majority. This time, there was a 4.3 percent lower turnout compared to the last election held in March. Some observers believe that people are tired of elections and want to have a stable government in the country.

A party with strong Islamic views

According to sources, even though the 'Raam' party has come in the role of kingmaker, it is not so easy for both the major Jewish parties to achieve it. In fact, both major parties represent the Jewish people settled in the country, while the Islamic Party The United Arab List talks about the interests of Muslims settled in Israel. The number of these Arab Muslims in Israel is also very less and instead of the country's Jewish population, they consider themselves closer to Palestine and other Arab countries.
